the japanese laptop in our kyoto hostel has a thing against me and so i can't log into my own blogger account.
anyway, here's day 1 and day 2 in 10 sentences:
1. arriving late in tokyo is not fun, everything bad that we said could happen to us, happened.
2. we learnt that if ever in doubt in japan, smile and bow; for other doubts, scream and run.
3. weird things happen in japan afterhours, just for example: train conductors have to drag drunks and sleepy-heads onto the last trains.
4. pork in japanese is really called butaniku (literally translated into pig meat)
5. random nice old men are helpful when finding ramen to eat at 2am in the morning.
6. we had our first roadside ramen. it was tonkatsu ramen.
7. we were caught totally helpless when walking down a flight of stairs of a supposed manga kissa (manga cafe) covered with hardcore porn.
8. we figured the toilets in tokyo station were so clean and so new, we could actually spend the night there.
9. our kyoto ryokan (japanese style hostel) has really nice futons (beds).
10. we love kyoto okonomiyaki. period. the best ever.
and xue says, all those who told me not to bring warm clothes.. it's freaking 10degrees here! we're freezing our asses off here!!

wa your eye very sharp! we didn't even notice it ourselves. haha laughed our asses off reading. yea the package will probably take longer to come! haha. enjoy the thingy.
