7 days and counting..

so i officially start the chronicles of how we got our act together, all the way leading up to this final week. while manda battles out the last of exams (at least for the near future) and me, scraping whatever money i can squeeze out of all my working projects.

so.. we put the stamp on our travel plans on 11 March. used my mum's travel agent to finalize everything. CX 0736 11May 1015am. and 2 etickets were delivered to me. starting our money count with SGD685 for the round trip tickets. a good SGD700 for mine, with the extended stopover at HongKong and Macau (ok i can hear you think again?!) but what the hell, it's cheap cheap!

and then began our hunt for places to stay which would be shown, over our course of travels. as the clock ticked, and the Yen decided to start rising, we settled with our 5% discount from NATAS fair, and grudgingly bought our JR passes. after much debate, we purchased the 3 week pass, with our internal transportation being more expensive than our airtickets. who would have thought? no backing out from this SGD767.60 now.


with much googling and travelling, we're proud to say our research should be well paid off when we're there. so meanwhile, anybody want to sponsor me for like disneysea entrance tickets or burberry bags, lest i really do end up eating 1 month's worth of roadside ramen, please do donate generously!


ohh and check out the Life! reporting for Tokyo. everything is just slowly falling into place. bliss! let's just say we're very thorough researchers. hur. if that's one lifeskill NUS has instilled in us. did i mention it's 7 days more? i need to start thinking what to pack!! yay!!
